The company is likely to have a corporate website, so make sure you read as much as possible, paying particular attention to the ‘About Us’ section (if they have one). The vacancy you are applying for will be solving a problem the company are facing, so make sure you are aware of how you will slot in. If you are applying for a job as a web designer, you’ll want to know whether there is a team of web designers or whether you are the first."
